This episode kicks off a two part series on Purpose Development in our Youth. In this first part, we’ll be talking with Heather Malin about her new book “Teaching for Purpose.” If you are a parent or educator these next two episodes might be particularly interesting to you as we explore how our Youth Develop purpose and get some ideas for how we can intervene either at home or via the educational system.

Heather is the director of research at the Center on Adolescence at Stanford University, where she researches how young people develop purpose and their capacity for meaningful contribution to their communities and society.
